review 1: An "okay" storyline though I found it rather difficult to figure out what was really happening. The transitions between the 1960's, 70's and present day were a little confusing, wasn't sure which timeframe I was reading about. It took awhile to understand where exactly some of the characters fit. The ending didn't end anything like what I thought it would, but a fair read. Wasn't one of those "can't put it down" books but alright.
review 2: I wish there were 1/2 stars as I would have given this 3.5 stars. The only reason not 4 was that I found myself getting angry at the main character and his selfishness and immaturity. Whether that was intentional by the author, as the story is about forgiveness, is very possible. It is always a different read when it m
