review 1: I've been on a truly emotional roll-a-coaster with this book. I've laughed,cried,and been on the edge of my seat. I read this book in 1 day,greedily getting my "fix "that all true book lovers get when you know you've got a gem. I adored Roz(Jessica) and Sebastian- not your typical new adult couple. Sebastian is a wealthy club owner, into the hit'em& quit'em lifestyle. He doesn't promise anything& all the women know from the start where they stand - pretty much out the door once he tires of them. In walks Roz -a beautiful,innocent red head. She meets Sebastian working as a waitress at the club. He fires her so he can sleep with her-that job her only source of income. He wants her all to himself and won't mix business and pleasure. Totally desperate,she agrees to Sebastian's... more proposal to be his "on call" woman in exchange for $$$, and place to stay for her & her little brother Kyle. She lost her parents when she was just a child and Kyle a baby. With no job,no home-nothing left but her pride she agrees to be at Sebastian's beck and call. Once they start seeing each other, things change for both of them pretty quickly. Roz is enamored with Sebastian,he's her knight and shining armor. Sebastian has never felt anything for a woman, love is a new concept for him.When a cruel twist of fate tries to break them apart,they show that true love can survive anything. Absolutely loved this book!
review 2: LOLgreat synopsis lolwhat teaser! HAthat synopsis always blew me away since those words just simply BRILLIANT!!!then I learned about jessica rabbitabout how obsessed he is with that charactertypical business man with story about how he escaped his past using women and such thingsand then the fact that he always help her, that's romantic also sweet:3how he dominated herwell, I agree if there are some people say that you kinda rush in the ending I also want you to kinda drag it a bit I just like "what the...." when sebastian easily confessed to her that vick did it. well, no. no way. I mean, sebastian knew her loooonnngg before he loves roz but he broke their relationship like well ok, but they knew like for the rest of their life pffftttI knew that vick had those kind of feeling towards sebastian. who doesn't? I knew it she would hurt roz -__-same old same old.Things that I don't really like how easily this story endHow roz easily forget sebastian mistake like well ok hmmmbut like how sebastian fell in love with her and didn't deny his feelings :)))))) less
