review 1: If you like reading the era of Knights and Lady's and enjoy a good read I recommend The Yielding. The main characters were so well rounded, their banter kept me entertained and how their love blossomed out of tragedy and hate was so sweet. It was also nice that the first book characters intertwined, I really fell in love with them in the first book. This is the second book in the series and enjoyed as much as the first. I look forward to reading all the books in the series.
review 2: When it comes to medieval romance, Tamara Leigh is a delight! She successfully creates the setting of England in the 1100's with such vivid detail that I believe I'm there. This is the second book in her Age of Faith series, and I enjoyed it every bit as much as The Unveiling. In
... morethis book, Lady Beatrix Wulfrith is convent-bound and satisfied with her chosen vocation. But her family was deeply involved in the conflict between Stephen and Henry for the throne of England, and now that Henry has won, her family is on shaky ground. Beatrix's position becomes even more tenuous when she is accused of killing a knight. She is taken captive by the knight's brother, the handsome Michael D'Arci and held in his family's castle while she awaits her murder trial.Set in a time of political unrest in England, Beatrix and Michael must learn to discern truth from falsehood, to trust, and to let down their own defenses enough to accept the love God has in store for them. I enjoyed it immensely! less
