review 1: The kid-super hero story continues in book #2. The story is very engaging and I do like how the characters are progressing, but I feel the teen-age lust (heavy kissing, tongues, and minor groping) scenes are too plentiful and not appropriate for the 14- year old protagonist. I'm not a prude, but it seems out of character as he is acting more like an 18-19 year old kid. If you can skim those scenes, the rest of the book is a good read.
review 2: I was not disappointed in continuing on with the Death series by Tamara Rose Blodgett. Death Speaks, the second in the series, picked up right where Death Whispers left off. I love how the characters have matured so much over the course of summer from middle school to high school. Blodgett really hits the nail on the
... more head with development, humor, and relationships. I love her writing as well; speaking teen is no easy task! I am excited to keep moving on in the series to see what these paranormals get into next, how their relationships grow and develop! less
