review 1: This book was 100 pages too long and when it finally ended it felt like the author quickly wrapped up all the loose ends that had been building over the previous 400 pages. BUT it's a sweet story. I enjoyed all characters, especially Sutton, and appreciated their depth, flaws and believable actions and responses to the situations. It's a good, clean Christian romance to pick up when you want an escape without too, too much fluff and preaching.
review 2: I enjoyed reading this one although I thought it was a bit longer than it needed to be. But I loved the setting of Belmont Mansion in Nashville and learning about Adelicia Acklen who is one of the most famous women in Nashville history. Loved the way the author was able to weave so many facts about her into the
... morestory. Now I need to go take the tour of the mansion and also go tour Downtown Presbyterian Church. less
