review 1: 3.5/5 stars. I generally enjoy these books more, but I'm starting to get annoyed by the whole Richard for some reason (reason varies book to book) can't use his magic. It's like every book there is an issue that comes up that keeps it from working and it's really wearing on me. Just let him use his magic at least one danged book already. I don't know. I guess he is so powerful magically that maybe most foes would be too easy for him, but still.. He might as well not be a wizard as little as he uses magic.
review 2: I was very excited to check the AUDIO edition out of my library. However, I was really disappointed with the reader. Can you spell boring boys and girls? B-O-R-I-N-G! A reader can make or break a book and this reader completely broke this book for... more me. PLEASE NOTE: They story is AWESOME! I have nothing against the story. In fact, I am going to check out the PRINT edition at my library as soon as it is available (there is a wait list for it). My advise is to read it, not listen to it. less
