review 1: Princess of defunct country decides she is not interested in marrying but does want to explore having a lover so she starts interviewing potential candidates. Her best friend's brother makes it his responsibility to put a stop to this behavior. When nothing works, he offers himself as a safe alternative, a lover that she can trust. Silly story but the byplay between the princess and prince is pretty funny--loved the snarky comments.
review 2: I had read Warren's "Trap" series when they came out a number of years ago and really liked them but kind of burned out on Regency-set novels so missed quite a few of her books between then an now. I really liked this one, though and will definitely get the other two books in the Princess series, though I've started wit... moreh the third one :) I love a smart, head-strong heroine determined to make her own way and I'm a sucker for the whole "lessons in love" trope. Very well written and sensual. less
