review 1: This s a story about how North from the movie Rise of the Guardians becomes who he is in the movie. In this adventure North is pulled from his thieving life in to a world of magic and wonder. I found this to be an interesting read. The story line is brought forth from the movie Rise of the Guardians. This is how North became the figure he is in the movie. I did not particularly enjoy this book it was not what I expected. Not quite as enjoyable as I had hoped. I was hoping it was going to be more exciting and adventure ridden.
review 2: I didn't make it past the first disc of the audiobook. I didn't care for the narration at all. I might try it again next Christmas, with the print edition. The pace felt much too slow, and the tone of the reading too detached... more, for me to even be interested enough to really understand what was happening. If you're interested in this story, I recommend waiting until you have time to sit down and discover it for yourself and read it at your own pace. less
