review 1: Probably my favourite little story in the black butler adventure so far, Ciel and Sebastian infiltrate the circus in hopes of discovering what's happening to all the children that have gone missing. This is truly an interesting manga which I've been reading a long time now. Kuroshitsuji, as it's originally known in Japan, is a Sherlock Holmes-esque manga, with a demonic twist. You never quite know the relationship between master and servant and whether or not their is truly concern for one another. All I know is this is a manga you want to read and an anime you want to stay away from if you love the manga.
review 2: More fun under the big-top for Sebastian and Ciel! Actually, the resolution of this one and the villain is a little horrifyingly creepy even for B
... morelack Butler. Ciel bears it with his usual decisive cynicism. He is my favorite fictional little kid. Sebastian, of course, bears it by being an incredibly competent demon who doesn't actually care about mass slaughter half as much as he cares about perfecting Ciel's Gateau Au Chocolat. less

I was hoping it wouldn't turn out the way it did. A good read.
