review 1: I enjoyed this book tremendously - it was set in Iceland, and involved a volcanic eruption on an island and people being evacuated and four most mysterious dead bodies in an ashy basement. Very Scandinavian with dark overtones and inpenetrable names. Not a flowing read for me.
