review 1: I do not know how to review this one. This was a difficult read for me. It took me a while to get this book read. It was heart wrenching in places but so lovely in others.In the beginning of the book Jon and Ellis are living their lives together. They are happy and they each have what they have craved - love. Rudy is the lovable Rudy, loving both of them unconditionally. I love Rudy, and I think Adrienne did a beautiful job portraying him. In this love story, this couple have to fight. They fight to stay together and to stay alive. Adrienne goes there in this book. To the dark side of things. I cried for these characters that I have taken into my heart. I could barely stand the hurt and turmoil.This book just ended. There really was no closure this one. Probably bec... moreause there is another book. I highly recommend this series and this author.
review 2: I borrowed the first book and really liked it due to the relationship between the brothers especially Rudy. So I was very eager to read the 2nd book which unfortunately turned out to be not so good. One of the few things I absolutely hate in a book is tragedy, mainly death especially when it involves a close character. I completely lost interest in the book after that unfortunate incident, sorry but it's just not my cup of tea.I think this will be it for me, I have no interest in reading the third installment. less
