review 1: I want to give a 3.5 to this book. It keeps you hooked to say the least. A good narrative and interesting characters similar to A summer of dead toys. The author however refuses to give any sort of hints as to what is happening. It follows actions of multiple characters discovering things and towards the end I was more like what the heck just happened here even though what did happen probably does make sense.
review 2: I received this good as a first reads giveaway from Goodreads. This was a well written book about the suspicious suicides of three coworkers. I believe this is the second in a series and I did not read the first in the series so I may have missed some past information. At the same time as the investigation into the suicides the lead detective is... more still trying to unravel his wife's disappearance. I'll be honest and say I was planning on giving is book 5 stars but the ending made me say "what the heck just happened here". less
