review 1: A little slow. Fun, but slow. Bendis tries for some character development issues here, but he doesn't do a whole lot with them. The new characters still feel very sketchy, although they've got potential, and the older characters aren't quite involved enough for them to advance at all. The last issue was a little weird for me. I had a hard time following what, exactly, the team (meaning Bendis and Co. in this case) was trying to do.
review 2: Something of a gap book. Bridging MU wide goings-on. Starting to think this title is a bit unnecessary. Were it about Cyclops and his team I'd be enjoying it more but it's turned into yet another x-student book. Where'd all these kids come from, again? They all kind of look alike. Why does every x-author have to introduce a
... more multitude of x-teens? Why are the original X-men so absent from the book? Dreadful fill-in artists to boot. less
