I enjoyed this, as I've enjoyed every other CRZ book I've read mostly because of his incredibly poetic descriptions (and Lucia Graves' excellent translations) but this book seriously lacked a lot of the mystery that captured me in the first two novels. It did create some meaningful connections between the first two and answer a lot of hanging questions, but some of those missing answers really added to the intrigue.
