review 1: Dear Carolyn Wall..... Please please please write another book!!!!! Wow... This author sure knows how to reach down and gut you with her characters. Makes you connect with them even though you have nothing in common. This book will have you thinking about it long after it's finished and begging for more. In her excerpt about the birth of this book she talks about if there is ever a sequel.... Please write it. She also states it's 50% true and 50% made up and I'm glad I didn't know that before reading it.... Although now I can't stop thinking about it. If your looking for a feel good book this isn't for you .... But if your looking for a great story that makes you stomp...cry...and your heart melt ...pick it up and enjoy the ride!!!
review 2: My city chose this ... morebook for community reading program this spring. I regret that it took me until 3 months later to get around to reading it. I unfortunately missed meeting the author and learning even more about the characters. I believe this was Wall's debut novel and I must say it was a joy to read. I did not expect the outcome and found myself staying awake and reading late into the evening. less
