review 1: This book is meant to be read BEFORE getting your new pet. It was informative, and I'm following a lot of his ideas, but my puppy (we got her 3 days ago) is not following suit as quickly as all the dogs on the Cesar show. Especially when it comes to the leash. We are going to press forward and see how Cesar's ideas work or our new dog. I would recommend this book, but I wouldn't make it my only dog-adotion read.
review 2: I read this book as we were adopting a new dog coco to be part of our family one dog, one rabbit, my husband and myself. We are dog whisperer fans, so when we adopted coco and read the 1st 2 chapters of this book I realized we made the right choice picking this dog with the right energy and introduced him to our home and family the prope... morer way! I absolutely love his book, filled with anecdotes, from Cesar and his clients, as well as tips for every stage of life(dog and human) thanks to this book my dogs are in their way of being balanced dogs and we as a couple are learning to be calm assertive pack leaders. I feel confident and recommend this book less
