review 1: This was a solid 3.5 stars. It had some good suspense but I felt that too many things kept happening to Sara; that it was one event after another, after another, on top of another. It got to the point where I was getting frustrated with another one of her panic meltdowns again and again. I was also left wondering about her relationship with her adoptive father and his treatment of her as she was growing up; it was briefly touched upon in a short conversation with her adoptive mother but it seemed lacking - I would have liked to have seen a good conversation - or confrontation - between Sara and her adoptive father. But the story kept me intrigued throughout the book. I much preferred Still Missing and will likely keep reading Chevy's books.
review 2: I thought
... morethis was another good book from her. I really like how all three books connect, but subtle. As a mother, I could see how Sara just wanted to keep her daughter safe. But that little girl needed a spanking. She is the only thing that I found very annoying about the story. I like the ending, just left me wondering who shot the gun. It didn't say or maybe I was just too tired and missed it. If anyone knows, let me know. Was it the sister or the kid? less

A really great book. I like the twists and turns, the relationships and the fast pace.

Redundant and 15 'sessions' too long.
