review 1: This book is one of the best books I have ever read. Samurai, Ninja, Pirates and action- all my favorite genres in one book! Every time I read the new book oh the 'Young Samurai' series, it astonishes me. There are always new idea, more suspense and more action. Chris Bradford's detailed action scenes thrill me and the plot that Jack Fletcher and his friends are captured by pirates in the sea is such a fantastic and fresh idea. If there is one thing I learned in this book, it would be friendship. Friendship between friends are unlimited, even when your life is in danger. I look forward to read the next book of the 'Young Samurai' series, 'The Ring of Sky'. Will Jack safely return home? Or will he confront more difficult obstacles?
review 2: Agak bosan bacan... morea. Aku suka sama Jack. dan aku seneng dia menguasai semua ilmu yg didapatnya baik itu ninja, samurai, maupun jadi navigator kapal. Tapi. ya itu tadi, kesannya dia perfect. Dia baek, setia, smart, dia juga jago bertarung. Jadi rasanya gimana gitu.Kali ini dia ada di dunia perbajaklautan. Dan seperti biasa, dia juga hebat dan bisa mengambil hati orang orang bajak laut itu. Ntah kenapa aku rasa dejavu pas baca buku ini. Rasanya aku pernah baca atau nonton hal yg serupa dengan cerita ini. Padahal aku yakin, ini pertama kalinya aku baca seri ini.Jadi agak aku skip skip lah halamannya pas baca buku ini. Bagian bertarungnya banyak yang aku skip. Aku masih kurang begitu suka sama Miyuki. Gak ada akiko sama sekali. Si mata naga muncul lagi. Saburo ampir mati. Dan si cewek bajak laut yg nyamar jadi cowok. Tetep penasaran sama buku terakhir sih. hehehe. less
