Resurrection Man Vol. II
review 1: This was really disjointed. After the fourth issue, the story goes off in a completely different tangent that seems unrelated to original story in any way. The character of Resurrection Man has been used well in the DC universe on occasion - this isn't one of them. Way too much cheesecake with the Body Doubles in the first half, and the shift into Arkham for the second half left several key ideas unexplained, and then that story ended up without any closure either. I think this series already got cancelled, and I can see why. It's unfortunate - there is definitely an untapped potential with the character, but this resurrection didn't give him the power he needed to succeed...
review 2: I won't spend much time on this review. As one review on the cover state
... mored, there are endless possibilities with this character. This collection fails to find the good ones. A man who has gained the power to return from death with a new metahuman power each time, but having no memory of his life beforehand, you get a story where every female is trashy and underdressed and the interest in RMs lost past gets lost in the clutter of endless action and breast shots. By the second half of the collection you finally get some interesting stories involving Arkham Asylum and Deathstroke, as well as a quick but incomplete origin story. This isn't that satisfying since it leaves the storyline and characters from the earlier stories hanging. Overall, I would skip this one unless they manage to salvage a more interesting story further along. less

It had its inconsistencies and I wouldn't call it an incredulous read but it was decent....

This book was so painful to read, I actually almost quit half way through.
