review 1: Darren Shan's engaging zombie series continues with Becky Smith and the Angels trying to keep the humans safe from zombies. As they travel with the evil Daniel Wood, B is torn between doing the honorable thing and doing the thing that will prevent more lives from being lost. The book ends with a cliffhanger as someone from her past resurfaces. This title is just as addictive as all the other ones in this series have been. I love the idea of a former zombie wrestling with her conscience.
review 2: I didn't expect it after reading book 1 (I couldn't stand B and almost didn't try book 2), but this series gets better with every book. I can't wait to see what happens next and I zipped right through the series to date and now have to wait for the next one! The surpri... morese ending didn't surprise me though. I have been convinced since finishing book 1, that we'd be seeing that person again. I've just been biding my time, wondering how long Shan would make us wait. less
