review 1: puuuuhhh! Band 3 kann mit seinen Humor locker mit den Vorgängern mithalten. Ich liebe die Dialoge. Sogar die Bösewichte! :D Das Ende spannt mich allerdings sehr auf die Folter! Was bedeutet, dass ich wohl oder übel auch Band 4 lesen muss. :D Ich würde es aber auch ohne den Cliffhanger lesen. Sehr amüsant, spannend und vorallem sehr schnell gelesen. Wobei ich mir gerade unsicher bin, ob ich das wirklich so gut finden soll, dass ich es so schnell mit meinen Augen verschlungen habe. Ich kann es nur jeden empfehlen dem Skelettdetektiv und Walküre Unruh durch ihre Abenteuer zu begleiten. Also los, Lesen! Jetzt! :)
review 2: So this is the end of a de facto trilogy within the series as a whole. It's got all the same action and witty dialogue of the previous two... more books but something a little extra, doubt in Skulduggery.The mentor relationship between Val and Skulduggery is one that crops up in fantasy all the time but one that doesn't get critiqued enough. Take Dumbledore in Harry Potter, a mentor figure that does care about his students but are his choices really in the best interest of them?People respect, even like, Skulduggery but they don't trust that he is really capable of acting in his student's best interest. less
