review 1: I felt that this one suffered a bit too much of Rowland reiterating again and again how far out of her depth Angel was; it seemed like she went out of her way to show Angel being as annoying/whiny/redneck as possible in places, almost to the point where it was a little out of character. It got better as the story progressed and the ending left me hungering for more. I just hope that Angel isn't falling back into bad habits.
review 2: Diana Rowland makes the rotting dead Angel sexy. Here she is embroiled in another Saberton plot to learn to use the zombies for their own evil purposes. Her beloved Marcus and Peroir are in danger and she and her rag tag rotting band of zombies (including her "son") are the only ones who can save them. Okay. Not everyone is a zombi
... moree. But it's still a fun read. There's action, mystery, and not too much romance. Rowland has taken a new direction with this novel which makes a future novel less predictable. less
