review 1: 2 ½ stars.The first 2/3 wasn’t doing anything for me. It was easy to put down. I kept waiting for it to get interesting, and it finally did during the last 25%. That part had good action, suspense, and events.DATA:Narrative mode: 3rd person. Kindle count length: 5,426 (368 pages). Swearing language: strong including religious swear words. review 2: Midnight Alias is an action-packed romantic suspense novel. The story has many characters with everyone playing a significant role. There are two romantic pairing in this story, Olivia- Luke and Isabel- Trevor, though the later is more like a side pairing because they have their own... more book which is next in the series. Olivia, the heroine is a strong- determined woman. She has been through a lot, right from a young age. And there's no stopping. Enters Luke, who's working on a mission and during his mission he meets her. There's attraction between them but both are in denial initially. Later circumstances leads them to trust one another and both help each other, thus accepting their feelings for each other. The suspense surrounding DEA will make you want to read and find out "what happens next?". And the love angel between Olivia- Luke and not to forget Trevor- Isabel will move the story forward. I would have given the book 5 stars but the abrupt ending is making me give it a 4 stars. It was way too rushed for me. Anyways looking forward to more of the series. A 4 stars for me (****). less
