review 1: I enjoyed this book a bit more than the one just before it in the series. I had checked out the two books from my library to try out this author. Overall there are interesting tidbits with regard to archaeology but I am not interested in some of the themes woven throughout these books. I do think perhaps someone raising children and perhaps even single parenting might find the subject matter and main characters more interesting than I.
review 2: I have to say I found this book a bit boring. I found my mind wandering towards the end of the book which tells me I wasn't captivated. I wanted it to be more thrilling & scary. I mean it is a murder/ kidnapping mystery so I expected it to be intense. I was going to just give it 2 stars but I felt it wasn't that bad I g... moreuess.... :) I hadn't ever read anything by the author Elly Griffiths and now probably won't read anything else of her work. That's it. less
