review 1: I liked the last one of the series the best. Took me a little while to get sucked in- kind of a different genre from what I usually read. This series is supposed to be young adult fiction and it was mostly very clean. Unfortunately there is a little too much open acceptance of sleeping with boyfriend/girlfriend for me to allow my 12 year old to read. It's too bad because I think she would love this series.
review 2: The best of the series. Yet predictable and still did not answer any questions to why caffeine was illegal. A bit mushy as well. This one strayed away from the numerous deaths and continuous threat of violence form the second. Although I found it a little bit of a write off that the "Russians" never became a threat-somewhat unsuspenseful. Glad mostl
... morey for the strong female heroine as she can be a role model for teen girls. She makes a point of letting girls know that although they don't need to find salvation through a man, it is still a wonderful thing to love and be loved mutually without strings or out of need or dependence. I guess you have to look at it more from the perspective of can we learn to forgive ourselves? less

I didn't really like a lot of the decisions characters made in this book.
