review 2: Series Review:Anya is one tough cookie and although she isn't perfect she makes decisions out of loyalty and love. Sometimes those get her in trouble while protecting those she loves. And sometimes she just plain gets herself in some messes. Anya grows up a lot in the 4-5 years this series covers and I grew quite fo... morend of her actually.I thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy. I enjoying reading YA books occasionally but so much if it is paranormal. This was a refreshing change from that with a storyline quite different from anything I have read to date. A definite plus for the series is that it's pretty clean so I definitely won't mind recommending it to students!Gabrielle Zevin has quickly become a favorite author and I hope she writes more books like these. less
