review 1: Having endured weeks of torture in hell, Kane wants nothing to do with his beautiful rescuer. Josephina Aisling is being punished for a crime of her sister.Josephina is the illegitmate daughter of the Fae King and a human . The King and Queen have a daughter and she is she gets to be the blood slave. Any mistakes the girl makes Josephina must take the punishments.Josephina, the half fae, half human female saved the keeper of Disaster. When she sees him she can't believe her luck. she has to rescue one of the Lords. They are very famous where she comes from and they have books and fan clubs for each of the different Lords. He becomes her protector because she wants to dies for the tortures she must endure. He refuses to kill her. There story begins. It was a okay story... more. it wasn't steamy like the other stories. They didi fall for each other instantly, especially Josephina. Of course Disaster did act up and tried to refuse him the opportunity to be happy. He detested Josephina and did everything in his power to get rid of her. They spent alot of time in this book doing things to try and save each other instead of communicating and working together. I was pleased with how Kane's demon was dealt with at the end. I and eager to read Torins story. I hope it is a little more enjoyable read.
review 2: I tried reading this book, but gave up at chapter thirteen. I just couldn't take it anymore. It had such a good start and then just dwindled off into I don't know where the heck ville. The fey were boring and had already been done to death in the way Gena decided to portray them and the supposed love interest was just so boring and dull once she was back among her own kind and being a Cinderella story of meh. Plus William's involvement was blagh and obviously forced since no story is complete without him. So yeah, not sure if I'll read the others. Probably just buy them so I can say "Yay, another series notched on my list." less
