review 1: All I can really say is I am highly confused after reading this installment. The first one had me hooked afterwards. But this one... it just seemed, irrelevant? I'm sure it all leads to something in the next installment and so on. But right now I have no idea what that is or if I am willing to invest more time and money into this series. Kahlil all of a sudden seems like a completely different character...I guess that's just because he lost his memories and all that. And I don't really know if I like John and his friends as characters either, they kinda bore me. Overall, I didn't enjoy it as much as the first, after awhile I was just reading it for the sake of finishing it and not having wasted my money.
review 2: Oh, wow!! I'm starting to get a slight idea how
... more things might be connected - and, boy, is this fantastic. The story lines are brilliantly interwoven and the complexity of the story makes it absolutely impossible to guess what is going to happen next... or even what is going on at all. You just hop on for the ride and go where it takes you ;-DAnother 5 hopeful stars - I'm so looking forward to see how all of this develops... less
