review 1: Wow, wow, wow! I knew at some point I'd pull an all night read with this one, and last night was it. Stayed up until I finished it (at 4 this morning). So exciting. There were times I felt like I couldn't breathe for the action in the book. Very suspenseful, very detailed. It had a satisfying ending, although I'm sorry it is over. I'm hoping I can reread it one time before I have to return it, to savor the details. I was reading so fast to find out the conclusion that I think I may have missed some things. This was a very good read, and I highly recommend it to anyone liking history and suspense. It's not the story you think it might be. It's that and so much more.
review 2: This is a GREAT book! I Loved it!! Fast-paced - keeps your interest up. P... moreoses an interesting theory of what might have happened. Characters are very likeable and you feel their angst in the various situations. I had never read this author before but it definitely made me want to read more of his work. It was one of those books that when I read it I was thinking about it when I wasn't reading it and then after I finished I am still thinking about it. That is the sign of a great book - to me!!! less
