review 1: I loved this book. I've been devouring her entire backlist. Somehow, despite the fact that her storylines remain so much the SAME, and the conflicts so predictable, the fairy tale ending always leave me a little teary eyed. The hero- Devlin St. Just- is part of a group of 5 brothers featured one by one in her books. He's a wonderful character, full of intensity and layers of complexity. The author does so well with men, with children, with babies. With the relationships in families- while being true to the historical romance genre very well. I wish the author would change up her storylines and character arcs, but other than that, I'll gladly continue to read her works.
