review 1: After a fantastic start, this novel crashed and burned. Not Ephron's writing style, which I found to be well written and easy to read. Rather, it was the story itself that fell short; the character motivation seemed off (would Melissa really be that motivated in revenge without being totally pyschotic and would Ivy just shrug indifferently, accepting that her husband might be a liar and rapist).

... moreting. Recommend? Sure..it's worth the read if you like mysteries/thrillers. I believe this is my first Hallie Ephron book as well. less
