Body Farm
review 1: Just a quick review of authenticity and research. It could have used a bit more reality by talking to someone who lived the nightmare. It is hard to find involved persons who are not prone to exaggerations, but they are out there. I was there in 1961-62 for running away from home to escape abusive stepfathers and ended up in this hellhole. What you read about the place is all true and the young were brutalized and in some instances died. Recently 55 bodies have been unearthed, making the total 24 more than recorded. The state of Florida still refuses to admit to any wrong doing. Other than these things the book is a great source of reference.
review 2: I have to say this might be the best of the Body Farm series so far. The story really kept pulling me in.
... moreThere were so many different emotions in this book, so many different little things said that actually put a smile on my face and so many different parts that pulled at my heart and made me feel as if I wanted to cry. "this whole world's one big crime scene....""All that's necessary for the forces of evil to win in the world is for enough good men to do nothing" ..... Edmund Burke less

Probably my favorite Body Farm novel. Although covers some really disturbing content.

This was a sad and chilling entry in this series, especially as I grew up in Florida.

Good read, based on true story. Thought provoking as this stuff is still going on.
