review 1: I had many of "Uggggg, this book is never going to end" moments. Many of "I want to quit, but have come so far moments. I was ever so surprised by the last few chapters that by the end sentence I was covered with goose bumps. The author really redeemed herself with the suspense and the never saw that coming moments, that it literally left my mouth open and me saying out loud "what a great ending". As a reader if you can make it through some not so thrilling parts, to get caught up in a who's who and what is really happening climax to only be blindsided with more surprise at the end, then this book is for you.
review 2: I typically love anything Jennifer McMahon, but this one though started off way to slow for me. Actually about 70% of the book was way to slow
... more for me. I had mostly lost interest but knew something good/crazy would happen bc it's just true Jennifer McMahon fashion. Thank god I did, bc the ending was amazing and the twist was definitely unexpected. Just wish it would have not been so slow getting there. less

Boring and shallow. What a bummer. I tried but I couldn't finish this, moving on to another.

I in fact did not finish this novel. I left at around page 100.
