review 1: What a ride!! Action, heartache, love, and craziness all wrapped up into one! Fell in love w these characters and while I'm sad to see it all end, the author wrapped it up beautifully - for some bittersweet yet beautifully. Violet's evolution through these books has been amazing. She started out a character I honestly wasn't sure I could get behind and ended up someone I could flat to on so many levels! A great conclusion to a must read series!
review 2: God, I really don't know what to say for this review. This series has been my life for the past year now and I really can't picture being without it. I'm just so attached to the characters and their lives. I feel like Violet has taught me a lot about myself. Her journey has shown me what NOT to do when my emoti... moreons get out of hand. Like befriend an exile. She's taught me to be strong and fearless when things look bleak. And most importantly to me, she's taught me what real love and sacrifice looks like. Her story is one that I'll cherish forever and I'll always be grateful that I got to experience her story not only with Jessica Shirvington but with other readers as well. Violet, your purpose was fulfilled in your world, but in mine you are doing way more than just saving the world. You're showing young girls how to be strong and to trust who they are, and that's more than I've always asked for and wanted. It was a bumpy ride but I'd gladly go through all the tears, laughs, and days sitting in my room alone again if it meant that I could have a chance at loving you even more than I do now. I'm really not ready to say goodbye to you and your family, so I guess I'll just say I'll see you later Violet until I decide to go on this journey with you again. See you then. less
