review 1: I love Jessica Shirvington! Something about her books...they are just pure reading pleasure! Although I really liked the end to her dystopian duology, I didn't think it was as strong as some of her others. In general, I really like duologies, but in this case, I almost wonder if this series would work better as three books. I would've liked to see a little more character development with the new characters and have the action spread out a bit. There is only so much "We're going down into the tunnels and we're all gonna die" you can put in a book before it loses its impact. Four solid stars, though, and I'll still read anything Jessica Shirvington writes. :)
review 2: Loved, Loved, Loved this book/series and will read it again. I have to say without a doubt Jess... moreica Shirvington is my FAVOURITE Author! I adore her ability to entice and capture the readers attention with such strong female characters. Her Leading Ladies are so lovable/believable with in many cases have quite large character flaws. They make mistakes, learn & grow along the way and this makes for very interesting reading. Her Marvelous male characters are what ladies around the world dream about. They are strong, handsome, magnetic. Mc Dreamies all the way. Jessica writes about the bonds of true sole mates magnificently and must have one hell of an amazing relationship with her husband to be able to write in such a way. I adore loosing myself in the lives of her characters. I have read & thoroughly enjoyed reading every single book of Jessica's and would highly recommend you read: Disruption & Corruption. The Violet Eden Chapters: Embrace, Enticed (Entice), Emblaze, Endless & Empower. Between the lives. I can't wait to read her next book. Thank You Jessica for creating such fabulous characters/stories/worlds. I'm proud to say they take prime position on our book shelves and are read & re read by myself & our daughter numerous times. :D less
