review 1: The title's kind of a misnomer. Not completely, but enough that I feel a disconnection from title to story. It was ok. I enjoyed it for the most part but it felt very rushed. It was weird that Osborn just drops revenge on Elden so fast... I mean, I hate a long drawn out struggle given ample evidence to the contrary, but a little but of something more than oh hey, sex! would have been nice, I suppose. I enjoyed the characters and their interactions with Osborn's brothers... But the way she handled her memories of life pre-invasion and then revenge... Meh!
review 2: This is the second book in this series. I liked this book better than the first as it was more obvious with it's tie to the fairy tale, plus the hero is a big bad bear, and who doesn't just love bears
... more! The characters and the story line kept me intrigued and even a little surprised at the end. I'm now curious how the next two books are going to work with the timing set by the first two books, it has to be a challenge to have one story told in 4 separate parts by 4 separate people and it all come together seamlessly. less

Not as dreamy aa Gems Showalter's book but it is one heck of a good read.
