review 1: Jojo Moyes does a great job at creating a likable character. This book is written in 3rd person perspective by four different voices Ed (hunky computer programmer), Jess (resilient mother of two), Nicky (goth teen son) and Tansy (brilliant at maths daughter). I listened to this book, so forgive any misspellings of names. Jojo Moyes takes these four characters on a road trip from hell, all of them a little broken and by the end (which is happy, of course) you are rooting for each one to find themselves, get the guy, go to school...whatever, because you like them all.

... moreughter, a goth son, a desperate mom, a HUGE dog, and an unlikely bloke on a road trip gone mad. This book made me laugh out loud and at the same time pull at my hearts string. I was page turning and rooting for all of these characters until the very end. And, when it did end, I wanted to turn back to page one and read it all over again. A great book club read. less
