The conversations between Cabal and Zarenyia kept me laughing.
review 2: So very pretty. Cabal is a sorcerer w... moreho summons Zarenyia, a spider-devil with a sexual appetite and a sense of humor. They descend together into Hell to search for another sorcerer who objects to being found and has his sights set on Cabal. Along the way, Cabal and Zarenyia kinda fall in friendship. It's adorable. Excellent pacing and although the language is quite dapper and literary, it has this fun, dirty edge to it. less
