review 1: OH MY GOSH THIS BOOK WAS INSANE!!! I was captivated from the very beginning! I couldn't put this nook down! It was just so captivating and raw and told in such a beautiful way. I got to the last page and was left breathless, I wanted so bad for there to be more but I understood the ending and i think it was such a beautifully horrific way to end the book(if that makes any sense). I loved the way the main character in this book thought and how he was able to think deeper in all these different angles without you as a reader becoming lost. As I said before it was just so raw. And the more the characters stories were reveled the more real they became and he more you could see they found themselves. This book while it was a sad theme didn't come across as overly depressing. It... more was a story of survival in the most dire circumstances and I smiled, laughed and cried through all the ups and downs this book had to offer.i did truly love this book and it left me speechless. Defiantly recommend it to those who love a story that they can't stop thinking about.
review 2: There's a lovely little bookshop in SE22 called Rye Books, very close to where my daughter lives and yesterday, seeing it open on a Sunday, I popped in and saw this- it was on my wish list so.Mostly read on the train home and then finished off this evening. Had to. Even took it to work and managed a few pages in my break. There is so little I can say without giving it all away. I think you should read this book. Just trust me. less

A chilling YA novel. Not for the faint-hearted.
