review 1: I liked this little exchange:Prodigy: You save the world, Loki.Loki: From myself.Prodigy: You know, of all the things I learned with you guys? Saving the world from yourself is the first, most necessary step.So true.McKelvie had 4 brilliant pages during the final battle, including 2 with Wiccan and Mother's energy making the borders of the panels. Good stuff. Very cool stuff. I really liked the contributions from Ward, Quinones, and Cloonan. I love everything Wu does. Otherwise I never want to see a superhero searching their contacts and liking Instagram photos ever again.
review 2: It went out the way it always was. This trade continued the stories of the Young Avengers, and finally resolved the Mother conflict that started it all. It continued the weird socia... morel media framing that I never really cared for, but I did still enjoy parts of it, and care for a number of the characters. I liked that they at least fleshed out some of the characters that I understood less, and hinted again at something big to come with Billy. I liked this okay, but with the little irritants here and there, I didn't love it. I would still like to see what happens to the characters, but would hope it wouldn't be quite the same as this. less
