review 1: Jumpy and disjointed, but with the core of a good story. The art is phenomenal and was what originally drew me to this in the first place - but it lacked backstory from the characters. I also love the diversity represented in this group... but almost felt like it was a little obvious, rather than a natural inclusion of different races, orientations, personalities, etc.Dialogue wasn't the greatest, and this volume is going to become really dated really fast, with tons of current pop culture references that nobody will understand in a few years.
review 2: To be completely honest I found the first 5 issues of this series and the Marvel Point One story at a con. But I wanted to mark on here that I had a copy and add it to the collection on here.As far as the actual... more series goes I really enjoyed the first 5 issues of this series and it's probably the best stuff on these characters since the original YA stuff.It's Possibly better then the original 12 issue series, I honestly don't know for sure. less
