review 1: I wasn't as happy with this entry of the Hollows Series. I see enough of the hate groups in the news, I really didn't care for it in my current escape world. This book was just too much on the edge of sad and dark. I did like that Rachel finally reconciled some of her inner turmoil and is finally realizing who she is and where she fits in the grand scheme of things. Took awhile for her to start growing into the promise of what she could become in the first part of the series.
review 2: The bad guys keep getting badder yet Rachel manages to win in the end. I'm a little disgruntled at the continuing lament that Ivy and Jenks are moving forward and leaving her behind. Also, and I've failed to mention this earlier, I wish Rachel would cut her damn hair si... morence tucking it behind her ear, getting it out of her face, etc., seems to come up about every other paragraph. Trent is becoming way too much of a focus in her life IMO. Glad she got inked for her alpha were status but am wondering if it will disappear when she resumes traveling to the ever after. less
