review 2: A great Magpie short! I don't read a lot of historical fiction, usually preferring contemporaries, but this series ranks high in my list of favorite reads this year! There is satisfying romance, but the story is equally interesting/important.I had planned to finish my monthly challenge books before coming back to this series, but at the end of this one, I quickly went to Am... moreazon for book 2 and am already well into it.Whether you are typically a lover of historical fiction or not, of paranormal or not--I urge you to try this series. You will not be disappointed! less
