review 1: Yet another delightful Charlie and Lola adventure, "Slightly Invisible" engages the imagination and make you want pink milk.Lola is seemingly bothering and interrupting Charlie and Marv when in fact, it is Lola and her invisible friend Soren Lorenson that have the solution to catching the 'strange and terrifyingly tricky creature.'Love the creative cut-out art used to put the pictures together and I also love the text layout. This review comes with a warning: your children may ask you to read this book so many times that you may begin to loathe the names 'Charlie and Lola.' Antidote, hide the book for a few days and revisit once you've had a break!
review 2: Ah, Charlie and Lola are back again. This time, Charlie wants Lola to stop bothering him and interrup
... moreting while he hunts for strange and tricky creatures with his friend Marv. They invent an invisibility potion (what, no grown ups to supervise them in the kitchen?!) and thus begins the real fun. Lola invents an invisible friend, Soren Lorensen, who is cleverly 'illustrated' on each page. Fans of Charlie and Lola will eat this up and even I was amused.Recommended for Kindergarten - grade 3. less
