review 1: I'm surprised such a short, quick read got me as emotional as this one did. Although the ending might be a bit too tidy given the circumstances (what luck that all 5 people a little boy knew on the Titanic survived...), I think this title paints an otherwise quite realistic and thrilling picture of the events of the Titanic's sinking. A great precursor for young readers interested in history or adventure.
review 2: I survived the sinking of the Titanic is about a kid named George Calder and his sister Phoebe and their aunt Daisy are on the Titanic because they were in London for two month for George's birthday. They are heading home to New York. I liked this book a lot. I liked how the author put pictures in some parts of the book so people can get a visual... more of what is going on in that scene. I also liked how the author wrote this book with information about the sinking of the titanic. I would recommend this book to people that like history or learning about it. less
