review 1: This is not a book of happy times and the HEA. It is a mystery, suspense and man's inhumanity to man kind of story. It didn't make me cry but it did make me hurt, angry and disappointed. I do prefer books that make me feel and this made me feel. The characters are very interesting and feel like people to me also. It's a good book, but not exactly an uplifting one. Oh and I'm in love with Wyatt, smart is the sexiest thing ever.
review 2: This was a typical thriller/whodunit novel about money, money, and more money. It had an interesting enough plot, but I couldn't really find myself liking Libby Denbe, whose first person voice we hear periodically throughout the book. I was way more interested in Tessa's character (will have to read the book prior to th... moreis one so I understand why she shot her husband). Nothing special about this book, but was entertaining nonetheless. less
