review 1: I've read a number of Lisa Unger's books and I thought this was the best so far. I was riveted to the story line from beginning to end. Lana Granger is an intriguing character in that she has lived a life of lying to the extent that she no longer has a grasp of the truth. She ends up accepting a babysitting job to help pay for her college expenses and it is there that she meets her match; an 11-year-old boy genius. Very chilling.
review 2: My first time reading Lisa Unger, and I will definitely be reading more! Lots of spins and I always enjoy enough twists that I am trying to figure it all out before it's unveiled. My only limitation to 4 vs 5 stars is that it was a little contrived to get to the end point with the antagonist - that could have been better ... moreincorporated. Great insight to the psyche of those challenges with mental issues. less
