review 1: A lot of people are saying for various reasons that these books aren't very good and that certain characters were more interesting, but i think lisi harrison did a good job of getting a wide variety of interesting characters that will appeal to different people. I found this book entertaining and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and quick read. Just be warned there is a huge cliff hanger.
review 2: It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either. A younger age group might be more interested, while I generally enjoy YA books, I feel I might be a bit too old for this series. And speaking of series, if you are going to read this book I would recommend getting the rest of the series at the same time because it does sort of just cut off at the end.
