review 1: I absolutely loved this book. The author's voice is so fresh and unique that it blew me away. Her character, Rachel de Luca, has the perfect blend of humor and street smarts. Humor isn't necessarily something I look for when opening a book, yet I always appreciate it. Innocent Prey is the third in the Brown and de Luca series. It's also one of nine romantic suspense books nominated by Romantic Times for a 2014 award. Can't wait to read earlier in the series and learn more about Rachel and Mason.
review 2: The trouble with reading any of the books in the Brown and de Luca series is that when you reach the end, you want more! I've been anxiously awaiting the release of this latest addition to the series since I finished the last one, and this was just as good a
... mores the others have been. The characters are engaging and the story moves at a perfect pace. There are the elements of suspense, romance, comedy, and also some very thought-provoking lessons woven throughout the story. You're left wishing you could meet these characters in person, because they would be such wonderful people to hang out with and have adventures with. I can't wait for the next book!! less
