review 1: At the time I thought it was worth it to read the previous 9 just to get to this one. I'm really annoyed about how the whole thing is marketed and produced, though. It's repitive and doesn't end, and this along with Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus/Kane Chronicles made me want to take a big long break from series and read something that actually felt like it meant something. But this one was good at least, can't say I remember the others.

... moreandle on a character or clue or mission, I was completely upended and back to square one. Amy and Dan Cahill are amazing kids. They are interesting, strong, smart, and mature. I think it's worth reading these books just to see their sibling relationship develop. These books have a bit of everything and so I'm not surprised that they appeal to so many. The conclusion is satisfying, and while one will see it coming in some ways, it does not disappoint. I am also impressed by each author's ability to fit their voices into each book while not losing the overall feeling of the series. Can't wait for the next round! less
